/ Speed Test
Check your internet speed
Download, upload, latency, and jitter, measured from this browser to Cloudflare’s network.
Cloudflare receives your IP and anonymized measurement data for their research. A full test can use up to about 200 MB of data.

Latency detail
Idle latency is your baseline. Loaded latency is what happens while the pipe is busy downloading or uploading. That’s what matters for calls and remote desktop.

Bandwidth progress
Each point is a transfer sample as the test ramps file size. Spikes and dips are normal on shared Wi‑Fi.

Upload samples (Mbps)
What each number tells you
Download speed is how fast files and pages pull in. Upload is what you send back out: backups, camera feeds, and cloud sync. Carriers sell it far lower than download, so those jobs stall first.
Latency and jitter matter for hosted phone systems and video meetings. High jitter on a “fast” circuit still makes calls choppy. For a Greenville office checklist on VoIP and Microsoft 365, see our office speed guide.
One tell: if office Wi‑Fi looks fine on a phone but rough on this test, or the other way around, the problem is usually the Wi‑Fi, not the circuit.
Speed test questions
How accurate is this speed test?
It measures your path to Cloudflare’s edge network from this browser. Results can differ from your ISP’s marketing number. Wi‑Fi, VPN, other devices, and which server you hit all move the needle. Use it as a check, not a courtroom exhibit.
Will this use a lot of data?
A full run can use up to about 200 MB. That’s normal for a thorough bandwidth test. Avoid starting one on a metered mobile hotspot unless you mean to.
What does Cloudflare see when I run the test?
Cloudflare receives your IP address (used to estimate city/country and ISP ASN) and anonymized measurement data for their internet quality research. PremierePC does not store your speed-test results on this page.
My numbers look low. What should I do?
Retest on a wired connection if you can, close big downloads, and turn off VPN. If upload or latency is still rough for phone systems or cloud apps, call us at (864) 335-9223 and we’ll help sort circuit vs Wi‑Fi vs gear.
What speed do I need for VoIP and Microsoft 365?
For a typical 10-30 person office: download over 100 Mbps, upload over 20 Mbps, latency under 50 ms, and jitter under 30 ms. Upload, latency, and jitter matter more than raw download. For the full breakdown, see our Greenville office speed guide.
